I don't have enough info to say much of anything, but I have to wonder if there would be no charges filed if the little girl had been a pedestrian. It's such a terrible thing, no matter what, for everyone involved.

The more I think about it, the more taking some of the money being spent on things like bike lanes and mounting a massive public awareness campaign about bikes, following the drunk driving and seat belt templates, seems like a good idea. Any takers? How do we get it started?
